If there was ever a year to look forward to, it's 2021.

Every Chandler business owner is greeting the year from a different vantage point, and the future is still uncertain. But I believe that it's a time of opportunity, and I invite you to join the conversation regarding what that future can be.

We know many business owners have a great deal of work and healing to do, and the Chamber is here for you.  Many, like myself, just want to wipe the slate clean and start fresh.  The Chamber is here for you too. Whichever side you happen to fall on, it means getting creative with this new beginning and adapting to whatever comes our way.

In that regard, I hope you like the fresh new look for the Chamber itself. We wanted to roll out the new look to go along with our new location in Downtown Chandler. And this isn't just optics; it's about making sure the Chamber is communicating clearly and often with our members.

The Board and staff, led by our President and CEO will continue to find innovative ways and new ideas to help businesses in whatever capacity is needed.   We will continue to act as a conduit between your business and elected officials, other local businesses as well as our partners in the nonprofit and education sectors.

We are the voice of the business community, when and how you need us to be.

One notable takeaway from The Year that Shall Not be Named, is that, while we are a membership-based organization, and rely on those memberships to be financially sound, we also believe that success of all businesses in Chandler is the success to us as a Chamber.  With that in mind, we've made Chamber resources available to any and all local businesses, regardless of membership status. That is something we'll continue when and where it makes sense.

We're online when we need to be, and will revisit in-person events when we can. Our Ostrich Festival committee is diligently researching new concepts for Chandler's signature event. Each event and program is being examined for how it can help the business community succeed in the future.

I hope you join us as we build a successful 2021.  Be sure to reach out to the Board, the staff, or me if you have input or ideas. On behalf of the Chandler Chamber Board of Directors, I want to thank you for being part of our organization's success, and most importantly, welcome to the New Year!
