November 2, 2021 Election Information:


This election will be conducted as a Ballot by Mail Election. No voting will take place at the polls. Ballots will be mailed to each qualified registered voter beginning Oct. 6, 2021.

The Chandler Chamber of Commerce is in support of all Ballot Questions being posed in the 2021 Election.

 

- Approval of the questions addressed in the City of Chandler's Bond Election will further the economic growth and prosperity of our city, as well as maintain programs that highlight our community’s commitment to safety and welfare.

 

- Approval of the Chandler Unified School District and Kyrene School District Maintenance & Operations Override Renewals will allow our local districts to offer competitive salaries that assist in recruiting and retaining exceptional teachers and staff.

 

We urge you to vote YES on all proposed ballot questions.

City of Chandler Special Bond Election Questions:


Question 1: BOND APPROVAL, YES

Shall Chandler be authorized to issue and sell $72,985,000 general obligation bonds for park and recreation improvements/community services?


Question 2: BOND APPROVAL, YES

Shall Chandler be authorized to issue and sell $25,160,000 general obligation bonds for public safety/fire?


Question 3: BOND APRROVAL, YES

Shall Chandler be authorized to issue and sell $55,190,000 general obligation bonds for public safety/police?


Question 4: BOND APPROVAL, YES

Shall Chandler be authorized to issue and sell $85,780,000 general obligation bonds for public works/street and transit improvements?


Question 5: BOND APPROVAL, YES

Shall Chandler be authorized to issue and sell $33,570,000 general obligation bonds for municipal facilities?


Chandler Unified School District:

BUDGET OVERRIDE CONTINUATION, YES

Shall the Governing Board of Chandler Unified School District No. 80 of Maricopa County, Arizona (the “School District”), adopt maintenance and operations budgets which allow the School District to continue to exceed the revenue control limit specified by law in the amount of not more than fifteen percent (15%) per fiscal year for fiscal year 2022/2023 and the next subsequent six (6) fiscal years thereafter? 


Kyrene School District:

BUDGET OVERRIDE CONTINUATION, YES

Shall the Governing Board of Kyrene Elementary School District No. 28 of Maricopa County, Arizona (the “District”), adopt a General Maintenance and Operation Budget that includes an amount that exceeds the revenue control limit specified by statute by 15% for fiscal year 2022/2023 and for six subsequent years?
