Dr. Craig Gilbert Bio
Dr. Craig Gilbert has served the Chandler community for over 18 years through the Chandler Unified School District. With an undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona, Dr. Gilbert came to CUSD; first as an educator and coach, then as vice principal at Hamilton High, principal of Payne Junior High, and finally as an assistant superintendent at the district level for Secondary Education. He holds a master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Phoenix, as well as obtained his doctorate of education in leadership from Arizona State University. For nearly 10 years, Dr. Gilbert has been responsible for the supervision over 21,000 students. Dr. Gilbert also sits on the Chandler Chamber Board of Directors.
