Born: Corpus Christi, TX, July 15, 1958
My childhood was spent in Texas and we moved to Newport News, Virginia in 1973, where I attended high school. I am a graduate of University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, with a concentration in Marketing. (May, 1980). I have 27 years of experience in the hospitality industry, beginning at Colonial Williamsburg, VA and moving to hotels and resorts in Lake George, New York and Baltimore, MD. My career then transitioned into off-premise catering in Washington, DC, where my clients included the Smithsonian Institution, The US Supreme Court, National Republican Senatorial Committee and the Israeli and Costa Rican Embassies. My social clients included Wolf Blitzer, Terry McAuliffe and Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, with whom I had the honor of catering his daughter’s wedding at the Supreme Court.
I moved to Arizona in 2001 to be closer to my mother and sister. Since my arrival, I have worked for Continental Catering, the Pointe South Mountain Resort and have been with the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort since April, 2004, and am currently the Director of Sales.
